The portal works as a platform for medical practitioners’, members and others (drug manufacturers, suppliers, etc.) to exchange vital information online effortlessly.
Members who are on chronic medication are unable to carry their medical clinic card when they travel rather it is very inconvenient to do so. This makes it hard for patients on chronic medication to enjoy their lives to the fullest. This hinders and makes it hard for physicians to care for their patients.
Medical history provides light to the caregiver, making it easy for them to treat patients accurately. In some situations, medical history could mean life and death. Putting patients’ medical records online makes it easy for physicians to access the information they require at the time of need.
By using member’s portal, patients on chronic medication can collect medication anywhere in the country without hassle. This gives them freedom of travelling knowing that the rest is taken care within a click.
Member’s portal will be a key player in the proposed National Health Insurance (NHI), when public and private come together. Transfers will be easily regulated, one central system where the information is kept, regardless of where the patient is admitted or staying.
